My Journey into AI & Automation

Hi, I’m Collin. My journey started back in college where I earned my Bachelor’s in Business. While studying, I found myself spending more and more time exploring the latest AI tools – I was hooked from the start and knew this was the direction I wanted to go.

Early Success on Upwork

Right after graduation, I jumped onto Upwork, eager to apply my growing skills. It was an exciting start! I connected with all sorts of businesses, listening to their challenges and building solutions. Within just the first four months, I achieved:

A perfect 5-star rating
The Top Rated badge (placing me in the top 10% of freelancers on the platform)

This early success fueled my passion and confirmed I was on the right path. During this time, I also focused on deepening my technical foundation, earning both the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified AI Practitioner certifications.

Skills & Experience

Since then, I’ve continued partnering with a variety of businesses, building AI and automation solutions tailored to their needs. My core focus is using tools like n8n and leveraging AI concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

I have hands-on experience integrating various services and APIs – from Google’s suite and GCP to AWS and Microsoft products – handling credentials and ensuring different systems work together seamlessly.

Current Projects

Right now, I’m particularly excited about:

Developing a repeatable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and RAG AI offering designed to help businesses efficiently process and utilize their data.
Integrating AI and automation deep into the internal operations of a digital marketing company to boost their productivity and campaign effectiveness.
